CxEnergy is the premier conference on building commissioning, energy management, and measurement & verification. The annual event includes educational sessions on wide range of topics relating to commissioning and energy management of the total building enclosure, an exhibit hall featuring the latest in energy management technologies and certification opportunities for ACG’s Certified Commissioning Authority (CxA) and EMA’s Energy Management Professional (EMP). More than 550 building commissioning, energy management, and test & balance professionals gathered in Orlando for the 2017 CxEnergy Conference & Expo at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate.

For four days we captured 32 technical sessions covering a wide array of topics. Speakers represented industry leading companies and organizations including the Department of Energy, Rheem, ABM, ComEd, Siemens, TLC Engineering for Architecture and more. Over 3,000 AIA continuing education credits were awarded to attendees. “Excellent conference and very qualified attendees,” said Howard Wolfman of Lumispec Consulting, who gave a great presentation on lighting system qualification in utility incentive programs.

During the CxEnergy expo there were 55 sponsors and exhibitors. The expo hall showcased companies that provide leading-edge products and services. From software, controls, instruments, and metering devices to consultative services in engineering and building management. We spent a few minutes with some exhibitors to shoot testimonials and get their opinions on the CxEnergy Conference & Expo. We also shot b-roll of attendees interacting with exhibitors for future conference promo videos.
