Sunday, April 8th on Easter Sunday, Orlando Florida Hip-Hop recording artist Wes Fif teamed up with Lasting Blueprint Productions to produce the music video for his song Off Top featuring fellow Orlando rapper Ill Essense. The song is from his latest project International Drive which was released a few weeks ago. This is the first rap music video that I (Leon Bailey) have been the director and cinematographer for a Wes Fif music video since last springs “Golden Nights” video. Wes approached me with the idea to shoot a video about 3 weeks ago. He knew of a location which was the Stigma Tattoo Bar, located at Downtown Orlando. He wanted a high energy club feel for the video. We teamed up and came up with the treatment for the video and then it was up to us to make sure the location was packed with enough people to present an authentic club look. We reached out to PTs Pretty Girls and Vibrant Vixens to provide talent for the video and we also included Orlando comedian Jersey for the storyline.
This had to be the most fun and challenging video shoot. Dealing with a lot of ladies is not an easy task to do.
