Ill Essense I’m The Man Music Video Shoot
The I’m The Man music video is the second project we’ve worked on with Orlando rapper Ill Essense. The song features Orlando artist Wes Fif. It would be the first music video that the two have collaborated on since the DJ Young Legend’s “Legendary” music video shoot in March 2010. The pre-production for the new music video compared to our previous project, Gettin 2 It was a little more precise. Every frame was mapped out before the day of the shoot. The chorus has Ill Essense rapping 200 miles per hour, so we wanted to have cars emulating 200 miles per hour. The video was a two day shoot. The performance shots were all on day one and the B roll footage were shot on day two.
For the I’m The Man music video, we shot scenes with a white background at the Suite 200 Music Group studio. That was a first and was a lot of fun. The rest of the scenes were shot in the Downtown Orlando area. We had new camera equipment to play with to assist with the cinematography, which was very exciting. Also for the first time we worked with makeup artist Colleen Gagnon and she did such a great job. This music video production was a team effort and we all worked hard to get what we wanted. The final video edit turned out to be what we wanted it to be and it’s one of the best music videos we have produced. We hope that you enjoy it as much as Ill Essense did.
